Plan your group outing to Food to Power's Hillside Hub.
Bring your class or company to Food to Power for an enriching day of teambuilding and learning. You'll start with a tour of the property then help with a variety of tasks at the Hillside Hub (1090 S. Institute St.) and enjoy an educational activity about the food system.
We offer flexible times Monday thru Saturday depending on the availability of our staff. We only accept groups of up to 30 folks not including facilitators or chaperones. We also require at least one chaperone per 10 young people.
While we do not charge a set fee for field trips, we ask that groups coming to visit acknowledge our time and labor by making an honorarium (donation) to Food to Power in appreciation of the field trip. An appropriate donation for a field trip could be anywhere from $100 to $1000 on a sliding scale depending on the resources available to your school or organization.
Note: Volunteer tasks vary as our farm runs on the growing season schedule and is typically closed for the winter November-February.
Thank you for your interest in joining us in at the Hillside Hub!
