Bread Brain
Baking and Mental Health Workshop
When's the last time you had a rest? Or a fresh pan dulce? A while? That's alright it's a busy time and we're culturally pushed to just keep going.
Join Chantal Figueroa at the Food to Power for a workshop all about rest, relaxation, and bread! We'll learn to make the iconic pan dulce, Conchas, and explore what rest looks like for you.
Bring a yoga mat and some comfy clothes for this one!
This workshop is part two of a series by Chantal. The first one, on September 27th at Flying Pig Farm, is all about milling flour from grains and baking challah bread. Register for part one here. (It's no problem to attend just one of the sessions.)
Free Event. Suggested Donation of $15.
All donations help support us providing no cost options as well as support of educational programs like field trips and youth internships.
Any children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and participants are encouraged to remember that Food to Power is a Tobacco and Firearm Free space.
